In My Travel Cosmetic Bag
It's pretty obvious that here at Emma Lomax London that we take our lashes very seriously.
I am slightly mascara obsessed and I am always looking for the newest most plumping mascara. The one piece of makeup I think I would have to take to a desert island would be mascara, along with one of my cute makeup bags (of course!). I feel like there is something missing when I am not wearing any.
I am not one of those girls who wear makeup to the beach, but I do like a natural looking mascara just to give my eyes a bit of definition. That is why for me a good waterproof mascara is my key beauty product to take on holiday.
There are lots of reasons that waterproof mascara is essential in ladies travel cosmetic bag. I don’t use waterproof mascaras everyday because there are some nights where I am just too tired to use that extra cotton wool pad to remove it. I don’t know if it is the shape of my eye or if I have oily eyelids (I have actually been told I have these, not sure if this is an actual thing, but it would make sense) but I always end up having black smudges under my eyes a few hours after I put on mascara
I recommend for the following mascaras when you are trying to tackle those raccoon eyes
This isn't actually a mascara, but it is a top coat, which in my eyes is even better as it means you can use your own mascara. Clarins Double Fix Mascara if perfect for eyelashes and eyebrows, this stronghold waterproof mascara can be used alone to condition lashes or as a topcoat over your usual mascara. Unruly brows can be kept in place with a quick application

Beat The Airport Queues
My top tip for removing waterproof mascara is to use Johnson's baby shampoo. It gets off all the hard bits and leaves your lashes lovely and soft. You can also buy these in minis now which is perfect to fit in your travel makeup bag and wash bag set.
Lots of love
